Essential Care Ocean Eye Shadow Palette
If you’re interested in natural health and beauty, then you’re probably already familiar with Essential Care. A small family-run business in Suffolk, Essential Care have been producing natural, organic, handmade cosmetics,  skin-, hair- and body-care products suitable for even the most sensitive and eczema-prone skin since 2003. With a philosophy stating that ‘All ingredients must have therapeutic value, as well as making the product a joy to use,’ all goods are necessarily created from the highest quality constituents, from cold-pressed virgin oils to anti-oxidant- and vitamin-rich herbs and minerals, while being completely free from all Parabens, Petrochemicals, and other nasties.
Despite being aware of the company for quite some time, I have only recently tried one of their cosmetics, in the form of the Essential Care Ocean Eye Shadow Palette, and I must say that I was very impressed. Presentation is simple, being restricted to recycled and recyclable materials, but if you can content yourself with a product that is prettier on the inside than it is on the out, then I think that you’ll be pleased that you made the compromise.
Created from pure mineral pigments, organic plant oils and antioxidant (anti-ageing) extracts, including calendula, chamomile and sea buckthorn, the eye shadow is light and pleasant to wear, and being free from synthetic colours and fragrances, highly unlikely to cause any irritation. Indeed, even my sensitive skin, which usually begins to feel tight and heavy after wearing any makeup for even the shortest period of time, felt perfectly comfortable. The lack of commonly used ingredients, such as Camine and Silk Powder, also make this colour palette suitable for vegans – even the applicators are of vegetable origin. The colours are subtle and blendable, with the Sand shade being ideal for use as either a highlighter, or as base upon which to build a more elaborate look, while Shell, Seaweed and Lagoon are designed to perfectly compliment, offering a softly shimmering effect truly evocative of a gentle spring day by the British seashore.

The Essential Care Ocean Eye Shadow Palette is £34.50 and is available from http://www.essential-care.co.uk. Order Online or Call 01638 716593. Free Delivery when you spend £30, free Gift when you spend £50.
